Later they cancelled both items for the pc and announced BF3 the sequel to BF2.
and that the BC2 onslaugh DLC was coming to the PC as well. Then they announced 1943 was coming for the pc and consoles. to try and make up for this DICE ported some BC1 maps to BC2 but ruined them in the process making them tiny for conquest but large for rush.
the mappacks were not REAL DLC and were just DISC LOCKED CONTENT.
Support ended for BC2 while the game was still a mess. unlike in BC2 where is was horrible and not fun. BC1 had better maps (larger) for conquest and rush was playable. also really annoying as for some 2142 was the best game of the series.īC2 turned out to be pretty bad, everything about it was done worse than in BC1. really annoying.ĭice killed off 2142 by delaying the final patch and announcing BC2 at the same time.
